The wood is selected depending on several factors like a tone of the wood for a better sound of the guitar.
Then it is seasoned in an environment with a controlled humidity about 40 to 55% for a reduction of the moisture content in the wood for several years before its use.
For the best wood finish, we use a french polish, where multiple layers of a mixture of shellac (goma laca), alcohol, and oils applied with a cloth doll (muñeca) on the wood.
This technique provides a high sheen polish surface with a deep colour that accents the wood and made the fantastic optical reflection effect called chatoyancy, the mirror cat's eyes.
